lukebee
Hi, I am 40 years old father of two. I have watched my uncle making scroll saw pieces for a while now and tried it on my own with my dads scroll saw from Canadian tire. I liked it so much I used a whole pay check to buy myself a Dewalt like my uncles. I have only completed a few pieces so far but am happy with them. I am using all the free designs I can find as I cannot spend any more money until I actually make some to cover my cost so far. This for me is a great way to spend my free time alone in my shop. Right now it's still a bit cold to be working in there but I try. Love all the work I see here. Great to have someone to share with. bobscroll and amazingkevin

bigt204
Hey Lukebee, those look good. I too got into scroll saw work after Christmas this year and so far have only done a couple projects with 3/4 stock and thicker. I live north of winnipeg just outside Selkirk and was wondering where you buy your wood from as I would like to get into making projects with 1/8" and 1/4"?
