amazingkevin
I used a 1.5 forstner drill to put the flat bottomed holes in this Formica-ed 3/4" plywood. My small drill press fooled me as i could only drill down 1/4" and no further. Ends up the piece that holds the wood was down almost out of reach of the drill bit.It had me going for awhile, thinking the wood was to hard to cut ,not! LarryEA
My first thought was to use it for a 'Palettes and mixing tray'. It has multiple uses.

Thats a good one, seal it with fiberglass resin so you can clean it if used for a mixing tray!
Lucky2
I hope they don't use tiny beads, because they would fall though the holes. Marg Marg, the holes aren't completely drilled through the piece of wood, you only drill so deep into the wood. If you were to drill all the way through the piece of wood, you would need to use a backer board like is done with portraits.
