It's Weding season

Two different weddings coming up. Sue Mey pattern, my lettering. Maple and a walnut backer. Used an FD UR 1 for the lettering and a FD UR 5 for the rings and outside cut.

Finish is a 50/50 mix of boil linseed oil with a top coat of Deft semi gloss spray lacquer.

The stand is a Steve Good design in 1/4" walnut finished the same as above.

Got to agree with everyone Dan. Two beautiful pieces and quite unusual. They will be cherished for a long time.

Love the plaques Dan,

 

I personally feel that hand crafted gifts are so well received and appreciated.  In today's world everyone is so busy running here and there, and when someone stops and takes their

time to make a gift ,that is  special.  Your work is flawless, and just goes to show the talent that lives in this village.
