DWSUDEKUM Posted May 10, 2015 Report Posted May 10, 2015 A customer commissioned me to make her 3 year old son a Green Dragon Bank. This bank I cut from clear pine, sealed with one coat of shellac and then painted with a metallic green acrylic paint. The coin slot was cut in the back between the wings and then a brass cover plate was put on. The bank is 10 1/4 inches tall x 8 1/2 inches long ( from tail to snout ) and 3 3/4 inches thick. It was top coated with semi gloss lacquer to help protect the bank. DW Quote
