Stack cut word art

These are gifts for friend.  1/4" oak stack cut.  Patterns by SullyScroller. 

The bottom one has a backing of 1/4" BB ply painted black. 

Being the lazy guy that I am, I found a 1/2" walnut piece to use as a backer for the top one - no painting needed!
