JustLarry
Wood Magazine puts out the Wood E-Newsletter. The one I received this morninghas scrollers in mind. Here are some links from the newsletter that could prove useful to some of us. http://www.woodmagazine.com/woodworking-tips/techniques/skills/scroll-saw-tips/?sssdmh=dm17.800339&esrc=nwwood051415 http://www.woodmagazine.com/community/great-woodworkers/rick-hutcheson-scrollsaw-expert/?sssdmh=dm17.800339&esrc=nwwood051415 http://www.woodmagazine.com/woodworking-tools/power/scrollsaw-expert-advice/?sssdmh=dm17.800339&esrc=nwwood051415 http://www.woodmagazine.com/woodworking-plans/bandsawing/bandsaw-resawing-guide/?sssdmh=dm17.800339&esrc=nwwood051415 http://www.woodmagazine.com/videos/v/56935836/learn-to-resaw.htm?sssdmh=dm17.800339&esrc=nwwood051415 Larry Travis, oldhudson, amazingkevin and 1 other

Kepy
I have had the pleasure of meeting Rick and he is a font of scrolling information. Not only that but he is very willing to share his knowledge.
WayneMahler
Nice links thanks for sharing. I have written Rick a time or two. He was always eager to help and took the time to explain things clearly. Just a great guy all around. Would love to meet in person.
Jim Finn
OK I selected the last link you posted and it got me to the site but I do not know how to read/view the info on re-sawing that should be there. How do I do that?
dgman
Looks like the correct link is not there. Typical of the Wood site.
JustLarry
Just went to the last link that I posted twice and it opens. It is a video almost 15 minutes long. Larry
Jim Finn
OK SO I tried again: Forced to sign in, then tried to go to videos, and all I could get is a turning video. I am not a turner. How do I get to the one about re-sawing?
JustLarry
Jim, When I click on the link it opens to the re-saw video. No sign in, no selecting or anything. First it opens a blank screen with heading on top then video opens. Learn to ResawTools Editor Bob Hunter goes over the basics of resawing boards with your bandsaw and how to achieve the best results. Seems a little slow but it loads. Jim Finn
Thanks. It finally opened for me. I was interested to see if they talked about "drift' while re-sawing. i do not ever get any "drift" since I started using a 1/2" Supercut carbide blade with my, non adjustable, re-saw fence. The blade will eventually dull but still cuts straight.
