DWSUDEKUM
Terry do not give up. Perhaps change your venu. Look to do the art show circuit. Intarsia and Segmentation tend to be looked at as art. I have a good friend that does intarsia here and when he does craft shows he does not do well. Art shows he does much better. Perhaps it will be the same in your neck of the wood. How long have you been doing the craft shows? DW Scrolling Steve
dgman
Nice display Terry. One thing I notice is you don't have small items. I always have items ranging from $3 to $120 for sale. The smaller items draw the customers in. Once they see the quality of the work they start looking at the larger more expensive items. LarryEA
You can't quit! You can change venues. Change something. If you give up don't you then just collect.... like I do. I may have to build storage soon.

wombatie
I agree with DW and dgman, either you make smaller / cheaper things to get them looking or you change your type of venue, but whatever you do don't give up. Marg
ike
I don't have much luck this time of the year . things useally start to pick up in August. Most of my sales are of goods under $30 so I try to keep my ccharges down to under $30 with nothing over $
Kris Martinson
Your work belongs in a beautiful gallery, not on a street corner. You are far too talented for this type of venue.
frankorona
Your work is very well done, do not despair, have a little patience.
Phantom Scroller
Terry you have some fantastic work and you look very comfortable sat there getting a sun tan. Try giving away some little treat to encourage people to stop and look. I do the little HUG word about an inch long and glitter in different colours might help always a talking point for the women. penquin
Shows are funny animals some can be great and others a real bummer. I do well at them but only do about 8 a year. My items range from 5 dollars to over 100 dollars. Most are in the 25 to 30 dollar range. Unlike you I do mostly fret work and therefore can stack cut items. That helps bring down my time and cost per item. On thicker items I ask more. Shared a booth with a ftriend for several years and he sold intarsia and we did about the same at shows. After several years all I can say is stick with it and have fun and you do meet some interesting folks at these shows. my wife loves all the animals folks bring along with them. We have got to meet pigs, small horses, and even a Joey ( small Kangaroo like criter. jim penquin Phantom Scroller
