oldhudson
You may have lost a portion of a finger but more importantly you haven't lost you sense of humor. Good wishes. I have all my digits and use nearly all the safety tools available on my equipment. Almost all woodworking has some danger attached to it, just part of the deal. koehler788
I came close once. I was milling picture frame stock on the table saw, ( I had seen a method and HEY THAT LOOKS COOL ) I ran the piece through with no trouble. Turned off the saw. Then while checking the piece - out of the corner of my eye, I saw movement on the table top. Blade Still Running (quietly). I reached over to grab it and my fingers grazed the top of the spinning blade, went through my fingernails and took the top layers of skin off of my index finger. Scared me bad enough and made me kind of sick . I told myself to get out there Now and just cut scraps . ( I got Back on the horse ). Now it mostly sits in the corner as a collect all table
