Popular Post Scrappile Posted June 15, 2015 Popular Post Report Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) In April I finished the Charles Dearing pattern #287 called "Lion Roaring". Tonight I finish his pattern #230 of a Leopard Roaring. It has been a roaring good time. To me the Leopard turned out to be more difficult than the lion because it had more fragile areas. The leopard is done on 1/2" Maple. I used 3/0 spiral blades and #3 FD-PSR blades. Edited June 15, 2015 by Scrappile bobscroll, Scrolling Steve, LarB and 7 others 10 Quote

Scrappile Posted June 15, 2015 Author Report Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) Thank you for the nice comments. They are very much appreciated. The part of this that made me most nervice was removing the pattern. I used painter's tape with the pattern on top of the tape. It took me 2 hours to remove it, because it came off in such small pieces and I had to be careful not to break a whisker. Edited June 15, 2015 by Scrappile Quote

penquin Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 That is one well done work. Looks great. Hard to believe you used 3/0 blades. Those are awful small for 3/4 inch wood. How many did you go through? Thanks for showing it to us all. jim penquin Quote
