Scrolling Steve Posted June 25, 2015 Report Share Posted June 25, 2015 (edited) I finished ..... you guys can give me some feed back !?....As i stated before i cut this for my sister-in-law who spends quite a bit of time every year in Africa.....Cut the top from 1/4 BB and the backer is 1'' MDF....the entire tusk was painted in "Formal Ivory"....Then painted the insert area of the backer black before gluing and pinning with 23ga pins.....I hope you like it!.........Almost forgot to say it is a Sue Mey pattern! When I was making pens, I use to get some stuff called "Alternate Ivory". It usually only came in smaller sizes but it would be neat if I could find some in a larger piece.
