Kevin Latimer Posted June 27, 2015 Author Report Posted June 27, 2015 Great work on all these Kevin.I like the ones with Jesus...and you know me and word art..love doing it. Are you a penquins fan? I'm not so much a hockey fan, but since i am born and raised in Pittsburgh, yes i root for the Pens when they make the playoffs. The only sport i follow and am diehard about is football and of course the steelers.! Gordster 1 Quote

wombatie Posted June 29, 2015 Report Posted June 29, 2015 Man i love this hobby. I'm addicted, wish i had known about scrolling 20 years ago. I'm with you Kevin. I did all of the women type things, sewing, knitting, cooking and was not very good at any of them, then the first day I tried a scroll saw I was hooked. Been loving it for the last 16 years but just think of all the other years I missed out on. How long have you been scrolling? Your work is excellent, each one is extremely well cut.  Marg Kevin Latimer 1 Quote
TripleJScroller Posted June 29, 2015 Report Posted June 29, 2015 Great work Kevin. Like you I wish I'd discovered scrolling a long time ago, and now that I have I wish I had more time to dedicate to it. There is something very satisfying about creating something nice with your own hands, one could even say it becomes addicting for sure. Kevin Latimer 1 Quote

Been loving it for the last 16 years but just think of all the other years I missed out on. How long have you been scrolling? Your work is excellent, each one is extremely well cut.  Marg thanks for the kind words, I havent been scrolling long, i think i'm starting my second month now. the bug hit me as soon as i first started, and its amazing to see the progress from my first piece to now. i can't wait to see my progress in like 6 months, a year, 5 years etc. I've already upgraded saws, from a porter cable that shook like a 9.5 earth quake to a delta 40-694 which i love. I pay my house off in March 2016 and after i cut that last check, then its gonna be an upgrade to a excalibur lol. wombatie 1 Quote

heppnerguy Posted July 3, 2015 Report Posted July 3, 2015 It is truly rewarding to find out that you can make such wonderful things from a few pieces of otherwise just pieces of wood. Nothing gave my more pleasure than to discover that I too can make things that I had no idea was within my hidden abilities. Way to go... nice work Dick heppnerguy Kevin Latimer 1 Quote
