wombatie
I made a few of these a few years ago, I also did Italy, France, England and Scotland. Came up with the idea because of an Italian lady, she could never figure out what time it was in Italy so I came up with one of these clocks. Anyway this one will be winging its way to Scotland in a couple of weeks. The wood is 1/4 " Blackheart Sassafras from Tasmania finished with Danish Oil. wombatie
Very nice Marg nice looking clock & a novel idea,Wish I could get timber like that. Peter try J & C thin Timbers, not sure if they have a web address so I will copy what I have on them, the prices may be out of date but they are a great company, just ring them tell them what you want and they will ship it to you. There is also Trend Timbers at www.trendtimber.com.au they have some beautiful looking wood. Marg

heppnerguy
I could have used one of those when we had exchange students a few years ago. I remember that I was always asking her what time it was in Germany. For some reason I just didn't seem to be able to keep the differences straight. Do I add or subtract 9 hours ? Now that I have been there it seems easy to remember which way to figure it out. But when our exchange student's sister was in Australia a few months ago it was again confusing because you are 20 hours ahead of us on the West Coast of America. Maybe I need to make myself an Australian timed clock like you did. No. That would probably confuse me even more since I wouldn't know if it was morning or evening there. Or is it just tomorrow there or still today. It would need the am and pm along with the date, oh what the heck now I am more confused than ever and I really do not need to know the time in Australia any more because she is back in Germany again and I do not Skype with anyone on Australia because I know no one there Dick heppnerguy wombatie

kywoodmaster
Great idea. I saw one once that I am going to do as soon as I get my saw set back up. It was a clock with all the numbers bunched at the botton and the phrase Who Cares across the top. Great work and idea.
