Popular Post osman123
Here's my latest project which I've just finished it was made for a friend who has a tattoo of the same design. It's cut from a single piece of English oak and mounted on a mahogany plinth. I cut the girls face, dress and the demons teeth away, this allowed me to stain the remaining timber a black ebony colour without bleed over. Once the stain was thoroughly dry I glued the other parts in place and then added the detailing of the girls face and dress using a fine black permanent marker. The whole piece was then finished off by the applying 3 coats of Danish Oil. Please excuse the dodgy photography, it was taken using a tablet. I've also included the pattern which was sourced on the internet, it was a tricky cut so a sharp blade and I would suggest a good quality hardwood. I'm quite pleased with the result though. Comments welcomed, good or bad? Regards....Ade Lucky2, Fishman, me5269 and 7 others
