bonacker
I tried to make a birch ring with a brass inlay band. I don't have a lathe, so cutting circles for a ring isn't easy. Not my best work, but I'm learning. amazingkevin and lawson56

bonacker
Thanks for the encouragement, guys! Perhaps somebody out there can give me tips on how to do these better. Youtube hasn't had much on scrolling rings. It would be good to have constructive criticism on our work from our great folks on SSV.

Phantom Scroller
Art it's not the ring issue it's the photography that needs sharpening. Roly

ubgoofy2003
That's a beautiful ring. You did fine with it. I was wondering how you applied the ring to the wood. I made one of cherry wood once & I cut the center with a forstner bit. It was just luck that it was the right size. It did cut a perfect circle though, HA I inserted a ruby stone in it & my wife wears it for conversation. She likes it. Thanks for your fine work & look forward to see more.
