The wife needed a small box for paper clips and bits so that gave me an excuse to make this. 😀😊

 

Pattern by Shiela Landry.

I did cut a couple of plastic layers but the wife preferred all wood. I did keep the backing for the lid in opaque plastic.

Very enjoyable piece to make, I particularly like cutting the Celtic knot pattern.

A nice box and could be a nice seller at craft shows, I would imagine. Your cutting is really good and the end results will make your wife proud to show off to her family and friends. Get busy, these will work well for Christmas presents for all the gals on your list
