bandaideman
I use Flying dutchman and know Mike retired and Wildwood took over the business but going to Wildwood website they do not have them listed forsale. I went ot mikes web site but not sure this goes to wildwood so did not order there. Not sure of other flying dutchman sellers so wonder for sure where your getting blades. I have used FD for over 15 years so not sure I want to switch. Also I remember seeing some were not happy with the FD blades since not getting them from Mike not as sharp or something like that. oneleggimp

Scrappile
You still can order through Mike's workshop. It isn't owned by Wildwood, it is owned by Wooden Teddy Bear out of Portland, Ore. They own Mike's site and business now. Scrolling Steve and heppnerguy

don in brooklin on
I ordered from the same old Mikes website and the blades came with the week. The service is really great when you think it came from Portland OR to Brooklin Ontario Canada.
dgman
Sloan's woodshop Sloans does not carry Flying Dutchman blades. They do carry Olsen blades though.
DWSUDEKUM
I have been using Mike's site since the beginning. I just ordered blades from that site and got them quickly and at the same prices as before. DW
NC Scroller
All I now use is Flying Dutchman which I get through Mike's Workshop. As others said Mike's Workshop is now owned by Wooden Teddy Bear (WTB). You know it is kinda like K-mart now owning Sears. I read what Mike posted on a couple forums. WTB not only bought Mike's Workshop (inventory and website) but they bought Mike's exclusive distributor license for Fly Dutchman in North America. So if you buy Flying Dutchman blades from ANY North American supplier, such as Lesley's, they are buying their blades from WTB. heppnerguy
ike
I orders 5 doz. FD blades from the wooden teddy bear and they slipped in my scroll saw and Didn't hold up very well so I went back to Olsen's and they worked real well with just a little wiping off the factory oil. MetalScroll
One thing about Lesley's customer service. I emailed them wanting suggestions on a blade recommendation for the steel I cut. There answer was look at the chart. My reply was the chart didn't say "hey James by this blade" Never got a reply to that.

Mike's was bought by Wooden Teddy Bear. I have bought some FD blades from the Mike's Workshop site since WTB bought it. Got them promptly and the ones I bought seem to be sharp. I plan to buy some more soon from Mike's Workshop site
bandaideman
thanks that was my main issue I was thinking Wildwood and not WTB. I also thought you could get through Mikes web sight but was not sure since I did not see the UR blades listed just SR but then they may be the same. Thanks will order tonight. May go to WTB because I need other things too. Thanks for all the answers and setting me straight.
Scrappile
The "UR" blades are the first ones listed at Mike's Workshop. Least on my computer they are. Thery are not the same as the "SR" blades.
