nicholas Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to set up a craft show booth to display projects and utilize the space that's available? I'm thinking about making some sort of a portable wall for the stuff that hangs, but I'm not sure about the best way to do it. Quote
dankc908 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 We bought grid racks from a local fixture supply company and matching "hooks" to hang our product. The only downside is that the grids can be heavy but they have worked very well for us for years. Quote
Travis Posted October 31, 2009 Report Posted October 31, 2009 I've seen some people use those folding closet doors that have the slats. A bit pricey, I'd imagine. But I thought that was rather clever. Quote
steviegwood Posted November 1, 2009 Report Posted November 1, 2009 I use tables with a dark material for covers that hangs almost to the floor. I then will elevate several items with a home shelving unit that I made. This can be done with small wooden step ladders and shelving boards. I use easels to stand portraits and other cuttings. They get more attention than just laying things flat. I won a second place best in show this year at a show that I did for the first time. After I figure out how to add photos here I can post them or you can email me for photos and some ideas with what I have done in the past. Steve Quote
