kywoodmaster Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 I stoped at the mill Tuesday and picked up a few kiln samples. I get these for 75 cents each. Dried to 5-8% moisture and ready for the planer. Didn't have a great choice today but I picked up Red & White Oak, Poplar, Walnut, Pine, Hickory and Ash. The whole lot cost $30.00 or about .32 cents a board foot. dgman, amazingkevin and me5269 3 Quote

ike Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Good find. I get my wood at the mill . but I have to dry it myself( Air Drying takes between 8 months and a year.) It's free but 32 cents per foot is really a better deal. Quote
