Hawk Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 (edited) My wife asked me to make a couple of clocks she can take to the Springer Spaniel National dog show for the raffle table. Here's what I came up with. I took a Springer portrait pattern I had and re-sized it to fit the clock. Then With sharpie in hand simplified the pattern for inlay. Then off to the scroll saw. They came out purddy good !!!! They are about 11" in diameter and are Maple and Walnut. Edited August 26, 2015 by Hawk bobscroll, Birchbark, New Guy and 4 others 7 Quote

Hawk Posted August 27, 2015 Author Report Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) To be honest, I'm not that new at scrolling. Before my divorce I had been at it for around 5 years. Lost all of my woodworking tools in that ordeal, now 4 years later I'm where I can get back to the relaxing past time of scrolling. The scroll saw I currently use is no where near the Delta P-20 I had (using A Delta Shopmaster), and I am saddened that the P-20 is no longer in production. Funny thing is my wife posted them on FaceBook for all her dog pals to see, now she's asking me to make 2 more with a Springer in a walking pose. Back to the pattern making stage.......
