Hi All

It has been awhile since I have posted anything here.

I recently acquired a set of moose antlers...for sometime I have wondered what it would be like to scoll on this type of thing but couldnt find a set. So now I have them:) I aws wondering if anyone has done this and if so I would be interested in knowing how it worked out and if there are any tricks or tips that you may be interested in sharing. I have a couple of pics I am concidering using...but there again would be interested in any that anyone else may have....I am leaning toward a moose and background silouhett type thing. This one is going to be a thank you gift for a nephew.... The man was kind enough to set me up with a DW788 scrollsaw using his company discount :) :) :)

Thanks

Dave.

anyone can email me directly at mrfxsit@hotmail.com

Hi Dave. I have a piece of moose antler and some day will scroll it. My wife got it for me when we were in Alaska. It's been three years and still haven't tackled it. I'll follow this post to see what others have to say.

I believe Whitewolf, Darryn, at Scroll Saw Portraits has done this.........I hope I'm remembering right! I've always wanted to tackle a project like this but no longer have access to any antlers. I used to live in Alaska. I think Darryn is a member here too but he's so busy all the time we don't see him much.
