kardar2 Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) Hello all, I. Was looking at some bowls that someone did. I made a comment that I would like to try and make one. I bought the book creative wood boxes on a scroll saw by Carol can't remember her last name sorry. I was reading the reviews and nothing but good. So this winter I will attempt it. My next purchase will be the bowls book. Edited September 13, 2015 by kardar2 heppnerguy 1 Quote
hotshot Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) I had to chuckle a little at your spelling of bowl :-) I think you will find Carole Rothmans book very well written with helpful illustrations. Seems like Fox Chapel does a good job on most of their books. --------Randy Edited September 13, 2015 by hotshot LarryEA, Larry A. Blakely and WayneMahler 3 Quote
LarryEA Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 I enjoy making bowls. There are a number patterns between SSV's Pattern library and Steve Good. There are intsructions on how to scroll a bowl by angling your saw. Also, you can make bowel bowls Scrolling Steve 1 Quote
New Guy Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) Don't pick on spelling errors if the English teacher was to correct our mistakes these topics would have red marks all over them. Edited September 15, 2015 by New Guy Quote

bandaideman Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 I understand I have never been very good at spelling but with spell check things got easier. I would think a bowel bowl would be called a chamber pot. Lucky2 1 Quote
DWSUDEKUM Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Carole's books are a great addition to one's scrollers library. Bowls are not real difficult to make they do need one to pay attention to detail though. Once you get started making bowls can be addicting. Looking forward to seeing your bowls as you make them.
