Hi New Scroller from Australia

Hi all, I decided to have a look around and sign up.  I am an experienced scroller with over 25 years hunched over my now very old Delta Q3 which I bought new.  

 

I have made just about everything possible with my scrollsaw, including large intricate clocks, boxes, signs, segmentation etc, and a few that people said were not possible, like my current build a full sized Dalek, nearly six feet tall when finished, all cut out with a scrollsaw and a few hand tools.

 

Here are a couple of things I have made over the years.  The Chimes of Normandy Clock stands 1metre (3 feet) tall, and the Egyptian segmentation work is about the same wide.

I make a motion to erase the newbie from his avatar and replace it with over qualified scroller! Welcome friend .Your going to add some new blood to the club that's going to transfuse plenty of ideas from seeing your work!Load us up with your photo's.Were all wanting to eyeball your fabulous collection of scrolled works.Glad to have you as the newest member.I for one vote to have you get a life time membership for free!Speaking of free there's most days plenty of coffee an tea in the coffee house with sustenance to satisfy the soul if your hungry.I hope you can cook for us too.You being a clock-maker already got on my good side so welcome again and enjoy all SSV has to offer you! :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool:

Welcome to The Village. I too have made several clocks and enjoy the results and fun making them. I have not seen your clock pattern before, but it looks like a  fun one to make. I really like your Egyptian piece. The color really makes it stand out. I too am going to go check out your album because I have not a clue what a Dalek is. so I am going for the education as well.

Welcome to the village.i too have been scrolling for 25+  years . never made a clock like that just don't have the room my shop is only 129 sq ft which limits my work. thanks for showing your beautiful work's.
