foxhunter
i have a sears craftsman 113236110 scroll-saw, it thing it takes a 5" blade but a 5' BLADE IS TOO LONG BY 1/2 AN INCH. even when the tension bar is adjusted all the way up it just falls out. any thought. thx bob
rjR
This seems like a very strange situation. If this is a pin end blade-- are you going far enough down on the bottom hook?? Some saws bottom hook is difficult to hook! Let us know what it was please; just to satisfy curiosity!
kardar2
Does it take pin end blades ? Or flat end? Not sure what you mean they fall out. If they are flat end blades you can cut off excess length so they are not too long. Older craftsman saw use to take pin end blades only. You can get a after market adapter so they will take flat end blades.
amazingkevin
That saw is wore out,Probable one i used to own.The problem i found out with my low cost scroll saws is the linking arm in the back of the saw. There's no access to lubrcate it and that where all the stress is on the machine.Go here and look for your machinehttp://www.toolpartsdirect.com/
LarryEA
Pin or non-pin blades are 5 inches long. As Kevin said, something is worn out.

ike
i agree wit Kevin. If yu can afford new saw get a good one don't mess with the cheaper saws. if you can't afford a new go to crags list list and buy a used one. You can get a dw 788 for $150- $
