Decided to buy this brand.  Was HALF price of the Minwax brand I have been buying..

I gave it a try on a word art plaque.  Did not appy any Oil or stain like I always do.

The wood was just plain ole Baltic Birch.  The Valspar gave the wood a soft brownish

look.  Posting 2 pics.  Couldn't get the Perfect pic.  Cheap camera.  LOL

Has anyone out there ever used this product?  If so I would LOVE to read any experiences.

Thanks in Advance..................Danny  :+}

Outstanding improvement, I'd go for the lower priced one looking at these great examples. :) :) :) :)

I had a bad experience with Valspar sometime back.  When I painted the hand crank organ I built I used Valspar.   The paint would not dry beyond the tacky stage.  I contacted them to tell them and they said they would run tests on the lot number.  I thought I would never hear from them again, but about a month later I did.  They said they found a problem with that lot, and were going to recall all they could of it. Refunded my money.  I had to sand it all off the organ and start over.  Different brand of paint the second time.  That was paint, and they did what they could to make it right.

I have not used the product you have, but I would not hesitate to.

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR COMMENTS....

Paul....  That was a very unfortunate thing to have happen.  Especially to a craft like yours.  Happy all worked out in the long run.

I have used Valspar Lacquer Paint for lots of my Christmas Ornaments and I must say I am really impressed.  If I wasn't the type

that likes a Shinny look ONE COAT could get by with more or less a Satin look.     AND ITS CHEAP.  Found this at LOWES.

Thanks again.............Danny  :+}
