Why would you apply the letters before you know which letter you actually need to sell a sled, wouldn't it be better to just have the letters ready to apply? Then no matter what letter the customer would want is available, if you cut the complete alphabet that is. Plus, I think it would make handling the sleds a lot easier, as you wouldn't be worried about damaging the letters with one sled sitting on top of another.
