spirithorse
I just finished these wedding plaques recently and wanted to publicly thank and acknowledge Gordster for all the help he gave me with putting the names and dates in an arc and his offer for more help if needed. 1/2" yellow pine stained golden oak with a 1/4" over-sized backer painted with acrylic craft paint. Approximately 8 1/2" x 10" Thanks again, Gordster, and God Bless!I had planned on using Oak but, was running short of time because of other plans and commitments and, when I looked through my oak, all of it had worm holes or other defects so, I planed down the pine and got to cutting. Comments welcome. Edited October 9, 2015 by spirithorse lawson56, Docupton and Lucky2
Lucky2
They look fantastic, I don't know if you really needed to stain them. They probably looked almost as good, if you had only varnished them. I'm sure that the recipient's will cherish getting them, and will display them with pride..
