Southern Scroller
Once upon a time, I was like you Paul, "Are you crazy putting holes in the walls". She also decided that the house was hers but only half of it. (the top half). You wanna see holes in the walls...When it comes time to paint the walls I fill in the existing holes only to have her start all over again. If one or a hundred holes keeps her happy then I'm am happy too. Fab4 When painting the walls again, toothpaste is easy and cheap to plug the old holes up. Northerner
i always use the sawtooth hangers as it gives me a little leeway if im off to one side or the other. how do you get the D-rings 'weight centered' if you have a lopsided project? i would think putting in a nail a little to see how it balances but it would be trial & error till you get it just right or is their some type of trick to doing it? It's easier than you think! I hold the project with two fingers, my thumb and middle finger. I adjust it till it looks level. Mark the back where my middle finger is, and mount the D ring or in my case, the triangle ring. NC Scroller
