Hi all from across the pond.   Happened across this site when looking for easy to do patterns.   I have only been scrolling for about 6 months or so, only made a couple of name signs for the family, looking to expand my skills and knowledge.

Moved to scrolling from turning, as it offered more scope to make things, turning by its nature should be sort of round, and after I made a toy box for my grandson I decided to move into scrolling, now I'm hooked. :D

Loved the look of this site with lots of patterns to try, and the help on offer if it is needed.

Love your car, wanna sell it?

Hey Colin, you're right, there are many patterns, more than than you can count. Well, more than I can count.

Ask a scrolling question and there will be answers.

So welcome to a very versatile wood working addiction.

So Colin, what saw do you have?

Welcome, glad to see you found us and so soon after you started your new hobby. Take it slow and easy because there are not only a lot of patterns to cut but they grow daily and you just can't catch up on all of them. Sort of like trying to get to the end of the internet. Besides if you were to reach the end of the pattern sources what would you do then?

Glad you found us now come back often. I promise there are a few sane people here too

Welcome Colin.

You'll find lots of talent expanding patterns here and a lot of them in plenty of time for Christmas.

Everyone here is more than willing to help, all you have to do is ask.

Enjoy your time in the Village.

A big thank you to everyone  for the warm welcome.  Thanks to bobscroll and Phantom Scroller it is nice to see I'm not the only Brit, not that I think I'm unique.   Bob, this is my second Moggy, and I hope to hand it on to my grandson its that good a car.

Roly, I will post some of my work when its done, and when I figure out how to download the pattern.

Hello Colin again, I once went all the way down to Portsmouth on a Sunday, I got as far as Fareham before we found a

Garage to fill up with petrol, That was from Lancaster! We couldn't believe how far we got on one tank full!

Hi Colin, welcome to the Village.  I'm Marg from Australia, formerly of Britain.  Pull up a chair and make yourself at home.  The Morris has always been my dream car, but alas thats all it ever will be, a dream.

Hi D,

I'm also new to this site and also to scrolling, having only done a little when making my bandsaw boxes. Now that I have seen Intarsia, I really want to get into that this year, but need a better scrollsaw so am on the lookout for an ExcaliburEX16 as soon as possible

Retired 5 years ago and need to keep busy with the help of this site. Hope to see some of your work on here soon.
