penquin
Just a short story. Did the Bakersfield show I mentioned before. Took 6 1/2 hours to go 78 miles because of the road closures and mud slides but once we got started we figure go for it. Had a younger fellow come by the booth and he immediately asked for both the Willie Nelson cutting and my Bob Marley. Since they are two completely different music styles I asked what he intended them for, were they gifts? He then told me he has a Medical marijuana shop in Bakersfield and since these two folks are sort of the poster child for grass he was putting both cuttings up in his shop. I got a kick out of it and like always you can never guess what the cuttings go and why they buy them. He asked if I had a Snoop Dog also, since he felt it would be good along with the others. Got to find me a Snoop Dog now. jim penquin bobscroll, Scrolling Steve, Sparkey and 1 other

dgman
Hey Jim, glad you made it to Bakersfield! I have a small story for you. I did the Thousand Oaks Street Fair on Sunday. A lady came to my booth And was looking around and asked me if I was the guy from Canyon Country! I said no, but I do know him! I felt honored! ichibob
Great story Jim... If you don't mind, what were the size of the portraits and what is the price range they go for in your area?
penquin
Great story Jim... If you don't mind, what were the size of the portraits and what is the price range they go for in your area? The size I use is a standard 11 X 14 frame size. Most of then go for between 28 to 42 dollars depending on the difficulty of the cut.
