wombatie
This is the first of the 3 retirement portraits. Roly I hope you don't mind but I changed the pattern a little, hope you like it. It is cut from 3mm Marine ply and the blade was thin.  The frame is a shop bought. Phantom Scroller
Hi Marg. Thanks for showing. I can't remember that one as I delete them after doing them but I'm not happy with the nose could do with a bit more pronounce definition. So I don't know what you changed if your happy then that's find by me. Roly

wombatie
Hi Marg. Thanks for showing. I can't remember that one as I delete them after doing them but I'm not happy with the nose could do with a bit more pronounce definition. So I don't know what you changed if your happy then that's find by me. Roly I changed the chin and part of the mouth from lots of small cuts to longer ones, and the shirt. Didn't take much notice of the nose until it was finished and framed, then I thought that it looked a bit piggy. Here is a copy of the pattern and a copy of the photo Edited October 21, 2015 by wombatie

Phantom Scroller
Roly is there any way to fix the nose? Just wondering. Marg Marg I've been out of commission for a few days with flu I'll have a look at it and do some plastic surgery. Watch this space. Roly I know you can't put things back but you can take things out, so draw the difference with a pencil until your happy you see the nose shape but the bits under the nose was the moustache highlighted which is what you could have done without unless you add a couple more lines to add the moustache up to you, see the nose first. I though about sticking nose pattern over the nose but you won't get it the right size without a lot of fiddling, hence the pencil. Hope this works Marg. wombatie
Thanks Roly. I can do that. It was just the more I looked at it the more I was baffled in how to fix it. Its the blonde in me. Hahahahaha Phantom Scroller
