mikewix Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 I've been working on this Eagle for some time. Have know idea how many hours in it, but its a bunch. Its cut in 1/2" oak and is the toughest pattern I've done so far. Think I will do an easier one next. Thanks for looking. Mike amazingkevin, James C Boykin Jr., ChelCass and 1 other 4 Quote

penquin Posted October 21, 2015 Report Posted October 21, 2015 Mike, it is easy to see the work and time you have on this one but what a magnificent cutting you created. That is one outstanding super cut. Great job on it. Doing it in 1/2 inch oak is a great idea, the thickness gives it a sense of depth. Thanks for sharing this with us. jim penquin Quote

Mike Lol,Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder ,And i wish is was the beholder!Every second cutting deeper into the eagle bringing it to life must have been exhilarating to see it transpose in wood.I have no idea who patterned this intricate birdy but their talent was matched with an unequally talented scroller. This representation of and eagle has to be the best ever i've seen. You pick em and you cut em!Thank you so much for showing us your skills and this fantastic eagle!    Quote
