Hello,

First started scrolling about 10 years ago while stationed in Germany, but didn't keep up with it (just too many things to do there!).  Moved back to the States last year, have my workshop up and running a making a bit of saw dust.  Have been visiting this site for information and ideas.  Finally decided to join up.  I have a craftsman 16" variable speed saw, which I purchased back in Germany 10 years ago.

Hey, I'm glad you joined us. Want to see some of your scrolling please.

Hey, is your avatar an old country store? Can't read the sign but is reminded me of the movie...

"Fried Green Tomatoes"

Actually was at one time, in a small town in South Texas were I grew up.  Unfortunately, most of the buildings in the town are now abandon.

Hello Dwayne,

I am glad you decided to go back to scrolling, it sure give me a lot of pleasure to be into it. but more than that, I am glad that you found our family, here in The Village worthy of your time as well. We are a pretty friendly batch of people here and love to help each other out in time of need. The secret of all of this success as a family here, is to log on often, that way we all can get to know you and you us. It only takes a short time to get the knowledge that you are at home here and have actually became a part of this world wide family. there are a vast array of patterns to download and cut here. and best of all our members contribute willingly to help build up the variety that exists here today. If you are a pattern maker yourself, we would love to cut some of your patterns too, should you decide to contribute them here. Feel free to explore as much as you have time to traverse through, because there is a whole lot more than free patterns here for you. Check out Travis' great how to videos in the 'university' part of the forum. He does a wonderful job of walking one through a lesson step by step, and at your own pace. Try one and get lost? just go back again until you get it. but if for some reason, you just can not figure something out, just leave a comment or question about what you do not understand and Travis will get back to you until you do     understand it.  And he does not get upset with you either, I know because it takes me some time to understand things and Travis has a heart of gold and patience of, well a busy doctor..
