Popular Post amazingkevin Posted October 30, 2015 Popular Post Report Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) I've never made ornaments but always wanted to .LOL Now i have too or starve .When i finish them all i'll be fat an sassy, lol I traded one guy $65.00 worth for some nice hard woods that i had trouble putting in my car.And he right away ordered lots more! Yes ! I have these shown going to Wisconsin .God's not opening a door for me he's dropping a house on me LOL Thank you Jesus! One of our members was offering her ornament book for sale and i bought it .The majority of the ornaments picked were from her book. I brought 8 special Christmas ornament books over from scroll saw wood working and crafts plus the other magazine that closed shop I had made the 12 days of Christmas for this customer but when he seen the girls 12 day version he changed his mind .No problem as i have some one that wants them too He sold me a 4' x4" 1/4" thick aromatic piece of wood to do the ornaments in for $5.00 it took one piece to do ten. These are all 1/4" thick aromatic cedar 5" tall 3 " an 3.4' wide i didn't cut the hanging hole as the customer requested that as he wanted to drill them. Now because he wants a different 12 days i'll have to cut them ,no big deal! Thanks for looking! Edited October 30, 2015 by amazingkevin Phantom Scroller, Scrappile, Scrolling Steve and 10 others 13 Quote

kywoodmaster Posted October 30, 2015 Report Posted October 30, 2015 Kevin they look great. It amazes me what some of you guys have to pay for lumber. I buy aromatic cedar for $1.00- $1.25 per board foot. A 1x4x8' would cost me less that $3.30 at the higher price. I would then take it home and resaw it into 3 pcs. of 1/4". amazingkevin 1 Quote
