Realitoes
Those are really nice. They are crafted and sold by Woodsmith of Naples. Edited November 2, 2015 by Realitoes john shankel
DWSUDEKUM
Those are very nice. Love the idea. Doubt they will part with that pattern anytime soon however. It does not look too complicated however on probably could figure out a pattern and make something similar. However it would have to be for personal use only as it would be copyright infringement. otherwise. DW john shankel
oldhudson
I agree with DW it's a pretty straight ahead project. I'm sure you can 'copy' this easily, as long as it's for personal use. You have the wine bottle to help with the scale. I don't know that I see it as a scroll saw project but with a band saw and router I think it looks easy enough. My first impression is cutting the bottom of the wine bottle may be the most difficult part. I think this looks pretty neat too maybe I'll add it to my "to do" list? I thought their selection of wood was excellent and the fit/finish was first rate. Very nice work. I'm certain that pic doesn't represent their first hanging candle/wine bottle. If you decide to tackle it you should put it under Works in Progress and we can follow along. john shankel

wbr
My first impression is cutting the bottom of the wine bottle may be the most difficult part. There's different ways to do it but I use my wet saw that's used for cutting tiles. john shankel
Scrappile
Nice looking lamp. There are lots of Youtube videos on how to cut a glass bottle with string and fire. It works, my Grandson and I did it once just to see if it did. john shankel
WayneMahler
Beautiful to say the least. I think drawing one up wouldn't be too hard. But if you drew it and then made it, would it still be infringement? Seems like such a fine line. john shankel
Phantom Scroller
Just change the shape and a bit of scroll work and it your design, it holds a bottle how hard can that be. Doesn't have to be that shape I'm just saying. Roly Edited November 3, 2015 by Phantom Scroller john shankel

heppnerguy
that is pretty cool. im wondering how the candle gets in there and lit. It looks like you just need to cut the bottle open at the bottom. After you have removed the bottle bottom all you need to do is place the candle on the deck of the hanger, light it and place the remainder part of the bottle over it Dick heppnerguy tomsteve
