Blade Lube?

Hi All:

 

Anyone use blade lube on their scroll blades? Does it help when cutting? Does it leave any stains on the wood? I thought I would try it out.

I've only used blade lube on my band saw , what I've been told is to use clear package tape on the project and this would do the job on scrollsaw blade lubing . I've only used it when cutting a personal portriat and it worked on this project , but this the only time I've used it .........Marshall

If I cannot use clear tape for any reason then I will make a few small cuts into a wax candle - it works with handsaws too.
