Kepy
I served during a time when your service was reviled rather than appreciated. It warms my heart to see the positive response and recognition that vets receive now. I have attended the program put on at our local school and it became a very emotional time for me and was extremely moving. Couldn't attend this year due to health problems. Was asked about participating in the local parade but it is held at a time that I can't be away from home as I am a full time caregiver for my elderly mother. WayneMahler
I served and very proud of it. I keep a pair of flags in the front of my, one in the back along with a garden banner with the pledge of allegiance on it. Would do it all over again tomorrow if they would let me.
