Mark SW
Hi My name is Mark and I am new to scroll sawing but no stranger to wood working. I have wanted a scroll saw for a long time and my wife got me an early Christmas present a Porter Cable 18" saw. I have other Porter Cable tools and I am very pleased with them. I look forward to learning from the wealth of knowledge that is here. Thank you for inviting me in Mark ChelCass, Bfreeman and amazingkevin
LarryEA
Hey mark, you have a good looking friend next to you. I couldn't tell if it is you or your friend on a chain. Married huh! Liking wood makes you a natural scroller and any question is met with at least one reasonable answer. Have you cut anything yet? What do you have plans to cut? Any particular subject? There are patterns here and everywhere. My Wife Susan likes leaves and I have cut a 100 leaves, just the outline and they are pretty. Or you could try GrampJim's Leopard that has two months of cutting. And all the other patterns in between. Scrolling is an addiction! Can't be cured. Welcome to SSV! Kepy
Welcome to the Village (the best scrolling site) from Missouri. I have fond memories of CO as I once attended Jr. College in La Junta and later worked on a dude ranch NW of Ft. Collins.
Scrappile
Welcome to the Village. Been though Colorado a couple time. Beautiful, and I saw herds of Elk. Jump in and start cutting. It seems to become habit forming.
