mikewix Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 I just finished this old mill pattern and swear I will never do it again. The siding on the building was so fragile I had to tape the already cut part together to keep it from flopping. I did have one piece brake out and was going to try to put a piece in, but wife says it an old building and could have siding missing, so not sure what I'll do yet. Time to start building frames again, thanks for looking. Mike Fish, New Guy, Lucky2 and 3 others 6 Quote
Scrappile Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 Well done, Mike. Makes a beautiful picture. Does look very fragile. Quote
redwine Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 To be sure that is a very fragile pattern as was most of Jeff's! When ever I cut one of his or Charles's patterns I generally had to turn them over and use some scotch tape and tape the waste into position to help with supporting the next cuts. If only cutting one rather than stack cutting, you can place the tape on top. You do have a cutting you can be proud of and as far as the piece missing only you will know where it is! Great job! dgman Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 Great cutting Mike! I looked very carefully and could not find where it was broken, so I wouldn't worry about it. Quote

Fish Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 That came out great, very nice work. I wouldn't worry about the missing piece either. Only you know where it was. Quote
