Dan
Nice work. Put a bottom and add some lids and you have a nice jewelry box.
Fish
Great job, I like the wood and Dan's idea too. It would make an interesting box.
kywoodmaster
Very nice job. The wood is beautiful. I also like Dan's idea that would be very cool.

wombatie
Lovely piece of wood. Excellent cutting. Now what are you going to do with it? Marg
Rob
Well it's too small for a jewelry box although that's a great idea. I will probably add a backer and a hanger and hopefully sell it. I still can't decide if I should cut the three remaining hearts or leave them as is. I could give it to the wife for Christmas but she'd probably think it was another trivet and divorce me. Rob.
merlin
Nice one Rob....................Some of the older Rimu is damn hard I know the feeling............I think cutting the other three hearts is a great idea.....................but your choice........... Rob
Thanks all for your comments. I couldn't decide if I wanted to cut the remaining three hearts or not so I decided to cut another one. I do love it when the pattern comes off in one piece. Here it is side by side with the one I cut yesterday. Maybe Merlin was right and it looks better fully cut. What do you think? Rob
Paul hd
Hi Rob. Great cutting on both. I personally prefer the full cut, but they are both very nice
