Hi,

Signed up here today because this looks like an interesting forum with a lot of posts.

I have a nice Delta machine, the top blade quick-clamp is a joy. Sadly can't use it at the moment cos it's in the garage.

In the office is a mad little Aeropiccola machine acquired at auction - the blade fitting is a real pain in the wossname sadly :( But I have been using it recently to cut some Christmas tree shapes.

Cheers all

Zed

Hi Zed,

Welcome to the forum.  Which Delta do you have?  I have an old Q3 and love the quick blade clamps but understand that parts can be a problem so I try to treat them gently.

I used to live just outside Luton but now live slightly further south !!

Rob.

Zed, Welcome and just to clear things up, this is an interesting forum with a lot of posts.

There are unwritten and un-regulated demands or wishes that are essential and need no stipulations......

"Primary Requirements...: (1) Cook !!!! Fix breakfast (This can be done at any time of the day, we're world wide you know)

                                            (2) Post Pictures !!! (wood work, shop, oh,,,is your picture in the Rogues gallery

                                            (3) Do more posts than Amazing Kevin..

Welcome to our world wide family. We love to share our work and knowledge  and you will find that everyone is respectful toward each other and happy to invite new members into our family. If you log on often and get to know the 'regulars' , it will soon be difficult not to want to log on and see what everyone has been up to. on a daily basis. if you do not have a lot of friends. it won't take long to understand that you have a lot of friends here in The Village,

I've just been to Poundland and got a pair of 2x reading specs, we'll see how they go when sawing. Also printing out Xmas "colouring in" pics as they make easy stencils to cut around.

They also have loads of LED strings, 10 & 20 to a string, run on 3v. And 3v coin cell batterys. Time for some scrolling, cutting & soldering :)
