amazingkevin
From rags to riches over night ! It will be a piece of cake elaborating on what you love so much! Won't they be surprised at having one of the best teachers around teaching them the fine art of "Italian intarsia "! That picture you acquired sure compliments the room, good trade! ;) ;) terrylee
Falcon
I like the picture and you should give the teaching a try. Bless someone else with the knowledge you have. WayneMahler
dgman
Good for you Terrylee! I'm not a teacher but I have been teaching beginners scroll saw at a Woodcraft store for six years now, so I know you can do it!
Lucky2
Way to go Terrylee, you deserve all of the recognition you can get. I think that you should definitely pass on some of your knowledge, personally, I think that it would do you some good. Len
heppnerguy
when I first started doing intarsia, i did a craft show and sold $175. I had a lot of nice comments on my work but the sales was not worth the effort for me. i have found that people at the craft shows seem to be looking for things, mostly under $30. Intarsia doesn't work very well in that category, but that is where scrolling does because the cost of scrolling most items is very little, also including the time involved. if you can go away from a craft show happy, Then it was worth the time and effort. Received a nice picture for your wall though. Good trade for both Dick heppnerguy WayneMahler

LarryEA
You can't teach without learning. You will also learn something, maybe that you are a good teacher. Well worth sharing a talent. Kinda like what we do here.
WayneMahler
I agree with the teaching thing. Everybody learns something along the way. Plus passing on an art form in itself is a treasure. I think we all do this because we enjoy it and love to share our work, maybe making a few dollars along the way. I hope you give it some serious thought and at least an attempt. Cheers.
