just gotta trim and make a frame. 1/8" bb. ive been stack cutting 4-1/8" for portraits for a bit now but think im gonna go back to 1/4"". seems more difficult and blade life is shortened, which im thinkin might be due to more plys with glue.

ill never do this one again !!!

until the next time!

  • 4 weeks later...

Looked this post up because I was thinking I read someone was searching for the pattern.  After rereading I don't see that, but if someone is it is available here: http://www.scrolleronline.com/product/8478/363

I ordered one.  Don't know when I will try it, but I have a weakness for scroll saw patterns, like my wife has a weakness for quilting patterns and material!

One of the most amazing scrolling pieces I remember seeing. This one is so well done and so detailed. When I first saw it, I just knew it would be a pattern that would make Paul's mouth water, and sure enough it did. I have to say it scares me a little but if I keep up with the spiral cutting and get better at it, I just might take a wack at it, if I live long enough to acquire enough skill to do it.
