dvickers Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Hello from Kansas. Now that all the kids have moved out have a lot of time on my hands after my real job. So I thought I would try the scroll saw hobby and have been hooked quick after cutting my first piece. Well if you could call it that. I've found many great ideas on YouTube. My favorite so far has been Steve Good at scrollsaw workshop.blogspot. I bought a inexpensive Ryobi but starting to understand why it was less than $100.00. At least it has got me started on some Christmas projects. I just found this site yesterday and already know that this will become a main resource as I'm starting to learn. heppnerguy Posted December 22, 2015 Report Posted December 22, 2015 Welcome aboard, If you have been reading a lot of the posts, it should be apparent that you have discovered a world wide family of scroller of whom there is not another bunch of people anywhere else on this planet. the secret is to log on often and get to know the family better but be advised that once you do, it will be very hard not to visit here daily. Explore all the nooks and crannies and check out all the free patterns and do not over look the Village University, farther down the forum page. Nice to have you as a part of the family Dick heppnerguy Quote
