Hi everyone.  I am finally back at my saw after several years that life got in the way.  LOL,  I have WAY too many patterns to let these years go by, but I am getting back into the dust creating presents this Christmas.  I will update more as time goes by.

Thanks for this site.  It has gotten me back in the groove, and I can't wait to learn more.  Deena K.

I love fretwork, but with 4 grandkids I do a lot of painted work like the penguin in my profile.  The wood I use depends on what my son-in-law gives me.  Yes, I am lucky.  His dad & he does cabinetry work, and the smaller stuff they can't use is perfect for my work.  I got a good size bundle of birch plywood for Christmas.  hehehe

Deena,

I too get some of my wood from my grandson who owns a very large cabinet shop that employees over 100 wood workers. My biggest problem is that his shop is about 4 ours away so I do not get there as often as i like.  love your penquin.
