Starting Christmas early

 Will be starting  making Christmas items much earlier this year, as I came up short last year, has anyone been in the same boat for your shows. Just wondering.. edward

Hi Edward, I cut out about 6 Christmas trees this past weekend. I will probably cut out some stars this coming weekend.

Ed I cut throughout the year whenever I spot them in my vast box of todo patterns. so it's never to early just box them up and don't forget to show them off. Roly

I have already started for Christmas. I did all right this year, I  didn't have ;much left for my last sale but i did real well on the higher priced items I came out with 3 items left. So i am starting from scratch.

Last year I took a break.  Way to long.  As the result I end up with a ton of stress and heartburn during October and November.  Almost as bad as working my old job.  I do not plan to make the same mistake again.  I have already started on 2016 but at a nice relaxed pace.

Hi Ed:

I cut Christmas items throughout the year

We have a "get together in July" where I have

my Christmas items on display. Gives us a good

idea of what is going to sell come December

We do o.k. in July but nothing like December

to get rid of your inventory.

The worse part about this, In December someone always comes up

with a pattern or two that I like and rush to get a few of them done

Those darn designers here at the Village should start early too.........lol

I've had big displays but at the wrong places and still did ok .

You can never start too soon Edward. I'll be starting this weekend myself if things go well.

As soon as Terry goes back to work I will be cutting some ornaments.  I always put one in with my Christmas Cards but I didn't this year because I didn't have time to cut them so I figure the sooner I do them the  better.
