Hi everyone. Well I'm thinking about getting another saw. This time I'm going all out with the Excalibur 21 inch. Ive seen them on a lot of different sites for $899.99 and all come with stand and foot switch. My question is, does it matter where I buy this from and are they all the same.  I've seem some that are all black frame and some that are green. Any difference. feedback welcome. Thanks, Ralph.

As far as I know black is the current color they are done in. I bought mine from Seyco also. I do not believe there is a difference between them.

I love the foot switch. I did not need the stand but it was cheaper then trying to get it without it. So the stand sits in the box.

I will tell you the quality of my work has definitely improved with the Excalibur! Almost no vibration and such easy tool free blade changes. Front to back movement of the blade is nonexistent! I have not yet used the tilting head but I do now have a pattern that will use it. It is my next project up for cutting. I really love the way the saw stays up when you lift it also. The shape of the table. All in all I can't really say I have found anything I dislike about it.

I've heard excellent customer responses about Seyco.

I think you are making a great choice.  I maybe wrong but I think green was an earlier color from when the saws were made in Canada, by General.  They are now made in Taiwan, I think, but don't let that scare you, still a great saw.

Bought mine from Seyco also.

Just wanted to add that I like the saw well enough that I would trade my 22 VS Hegner for a new 30" Ex in a heartbeat.  Maybe even for a new 21".

Seyco will set the saw up and fine tune it before they send it to you. That's where I would buy mine if and when I buy one.

Rusty, for the most part, I think this is true, and I have always heard they did, but they must have missed mine.  I had loose bolts and had to adjust the upper arm so it would stay up like it is suppose to.  Not a big deal but I was a little disappointed.  Soon as I started using the saw, I was so happy it did not matter.
