Well, she is put together and ready for some cutting tomorrow night. And there looks like a storm is coming in tomorrow and possibly the Barrel Races will be canceled this weekend. If so, guess what is going to get a real workout.

Yes I did turn it on and turned on the light. Wow the saw is so quiet compared to the HF. Also mounted one of the saw blades that came with the saw. Can't wait to make a Christmas Star or Christmas Tree.

It's a great saw.  I'm sure you'll love it.

I used the rear leg extension and set it at it's maximum.  Seeing as I use a stool when cutting, it seemed quite a lot more comfortable than when flat.

How well i know that same feeling! Yeah where's all te noise was my first impression too.Quite as  a church mouse.Throw that light away and get something the stays put.Or wind some heavy#6 wire around the flex cable to ridged it up.Get ready to shovel loads of saw dust out.Let the fun begin!

Well I just heard, the Barrel Races are cancelled tomorrow due to weather. So I'm thinking I will be working in the garage all day tomorrow cutting out Christmas Trees and Christmas Stars. I will post what I get done tomorrow.

Hi Kevin, I do have a table mounted Ott light that I use with the HF Saw. So I will probably find a way to mount that with the Dewalt.

Saw is up and running. The Lord brought in bad weather so the barrel races are cancelled and you can scroll.  It is a love thing
