fredfret Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 The "pressure treated" one kind of worries me. The chemicals used for MOST pressure treatments are Poison (arsinic). The cutting looks real good but the health aspect of pressure treated well! Fredfret Wichita, ks Birchbark 1 Quote

For the amount that is cut it's really no big deal No worse than MDF, I think There is a coat of natural stain on them too Thanks Fab4 Quote

Fab4 Posted January 12, 2016 Author Report Posted January 12, 2016 Great work! Love the walnut and oak. Hi Fish Thanks, Different tastes for everyone - I think that's funny Those are my least favorite - Nice to cut and the finish is nicer on those but too plain for me I guess that's why you never know what people will go for. dgman Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 Those came out great Paul! I have cut hundreds of these mini birdhouses all from various hardwoods, but never of laminated woods. I will have to try it. I thought the 1/2" hole was too big, so I drill 3/8" holes instead. I think it looks a little more proportioned. Fab4 1 Quote
