I'm trying different things with these awesome birdhouses

Laminated some birch with walnut

Laminated some crappy plywood

Pressure treated lumber

Oak

Walnut

I'm also painting the birds different colors

Have a look see what you think

A big thank you to Danny for his assistance on these.

Thanks for looking

The "pressure treated" one kind of worries me. The chemicals used for MOST pressure treatments are Poison (arsinic). The cutting looks real good but the health aspect of pressure treated well!

Hi Fred

I wouldn't fret too much about the pressure treated wood. For the amount that is cut it's really no big deal

No worse than MDF, I think

There is a coat of natural stain on them too

Thanks

Great work! Love the walnut and oak.

Hi Fish

Thanks,

Different tastes for everyone - I think that's funny

Those are my least favorite -

Nice to cut and the finish is nicer on those but too plain for me

I guess that's why you never know what people will go for.

They are superb.  Love your idea with mixing up the woods.  They have been on my to do list forever and every time that someone posts some I think to myself I must do those....I will one day.

Marg

Thanks Marg:

Warning: If and when you get around to cutting these you will be there for awhile

They are very addictive. Hope to see some of yours soon
