LarryEA
A Steve Good Pattern. This is 3/16" Luan about 6" in diameter. Mounted on a small slab of Red Oak Burl. Two pictures just for a different prospective. Critique Please! WolfyPete, Young_Scroller, New Guy and 2 others

wombatie
Looks great Larry. Have you thought of putting green felt or something similar behind the leaf to emphasize it? Marg LarryEA
Lucky2
Larry, it's a good looking cutting, but, I'm not all that thrilled with your finish. It may be just the pics, but, to me, the interior cuts don't look as if they have a finish on them. The presentation is super, I'll have to try to remember it. What did you do to finish this, I mean how did you go about finishing it? For items like this one, I like to dip them in the finish, rather than spray or brush a finish on. Len Len, you do check things out. Nice eye to see I have not put a finish on. Weather not condusive for a finish. Not enough heat in shop. How about recommending how to finish this. It would help
