Mystery wood from the scrap pile at Woodcraft store.  Was something special they said, but I can't remember.  Can anybody identify the wood?  It look like silk once I put the oil on.  Amazing. Got the pattern from the German Scrollsaw magazine.  Japanese Designer:  Saburo Oguro.

Edit:  "Saburo Oguro"

Very nice, love the wood.   Saburo Oruro. does some great puzzles, to bad we can't get then here.  Did buy a book from a store in what we call "Little Tokyo " here in Los Angeles.  Not cheap and all in Japanese so I need help with it but the patterns are super.  Thanks for showing us your work.

It's because "autocorrect" changed Oguro to Oruro when I first posted... I corrected it!

Thanks for the lead but if you look it does say unavailable.  This is the story everywhere.  It seems he got into a fight with the publisher and it was pulled off the market and so far I have been unable to locate it anywhere or in any country.

Thanks for thinking of me.
